Finals Yikes!

No pictures today just stress. I studied all morning for my Old Testament final which I just took, I think it went pretty well but we'll see. Two more easy take home finals this weekend (Hebrew and Old Testament Field Trips) and then off to Eilat for a fun day of snorkeling on Sunday!! I couldn't be more excited for this Eilat trip wow! It's supposed to be gorgeous =)

Next week we have our finals for our Judaism and Palestinian classes.

We can't get on facebook anymore boo! That's alright, we're gonna make a little trip over to Hebrew University for snacks and a little brain-dead facebook time.

Only a little over a week until we go to Galilee! This semester is finishing up so fast I can't believe it, but I'm going to miss all of my wonderful Jerusalem friends when we go back to the real world.

I'm debating whether to buy my little sisters genie pants, skirts for church or camel leather sandals...? Any preferences girls? If you were them what would you like?

Catching Up - June in Jerusalem

So, as I'm sure you can see, I haven't blogged for the last month which is so horrible because so many wonderful things have happened! I'm just going to put up a bunch of pictures but I can't promise anything, this blogging business is more difficult than I expected.

At the beach in Tel Aviv, you can already see the patchy sunburn but nothing is better than a giant double scoop of gelato

Trying to balance them on our heads - way too hard

Top Shepherd

This was way harder than you think it would be

We had to corral the animals at each station inside a circle of rocks for 10 seconds...totally beat the other group!

The scrolls are so holy that you can't touch them with your hands and they are kept in a special fabric case

When Ignorance Reigns Lives Are Lost

This was just minutes before two horses came running down the street behind me, followed by a screaming Palestinian man

Passover Seder Meal

The Seder meal involves a lengthy program which involves a lot of reading from this book, ritual hand-washing and eating those delicacies you can see on the silver platter

On our hard-boiled egg we placed all of the cherry stems we had tied

So proud of myself for tying my first two cherry stems with my mouth

Just had to include this one from a friend...sleeping on the ferry on the Turkey trip...possibly a double or triple chin

don't forget the sparkly pants - those are a hit

Shopping in the Old City

Well this post has taken way too long and it's time for me to go to sleep for our field trip tomorrow. We are going to Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum) and Mt. Herzl (National Cemetary). Enjoy the pictures! We just got back from Jordan a few days ago and I'll put those pictures up soon, maybe after our finals this week.
